To celebrate World AIDS Day 2009, Kuala Lumpur AIDS Support Services (KLASS) together with Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF)holding an event, which is the World AIDS Day 2009 at Wangsa Walk Mall which is located at Jalan Wangsa Perdana 1, Wangsa maju, Kuala Lumpur. The event is going to be opened to anyone on both 5th of Dec. (saturday) and 6th of Dec. (sunday). Event starts from 11am on 5th Dec. and ends at 8pm on 6th Dec.
The theme for this year's World AIDS Day is Universal Access & Human Rights. The main objectives of the World AIDS Day 2009 are as follow:

1. To Increase awareness of World AIDS Day

2. To encourage a renewed sense of commitment among attendees

3. To disseminate information on prevention & care

4. To reduce stigma & discrimination

On the 6th of Dec. Its one of our greatest honor to have the opening ceremony of World AIDS Day 2009 officiated by the former Prime Minister Y.A.Bhg. Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad.

After the opening ceremony, there will be a Mini Concert leading by the Ambassador Yise Loo and Aric Ho together with 13 other local artists.

On both days, there will be exhibition, games in the mall to incorporate the ideas of spreading basic information on HIV/AIDS to the general public.
